Cardi B had some with entertainment site The Shade Room and the “negative” content she says they post about her.
In a series of since-deleted tweets, the “Up” rapper and the popular outlet exchanged words Sunday after The Shade Room posted a celebratory message to Cardi’s daughter, Cultureon his fourth birthday.
“Remove my child from your The Shade Room page… Thank you,” Cardi wrote on the post, later shared by Onsite.
“Because my thing is… okay you only post negative stuff about me cool no problem. stopped me from commenting on their ok cool page,” she tweeted. please don’t post my kid on y’all it’s funny…I don’t wanna be myself but just leave me alone.”
The Shade Room responded, challenging the rapper’s claim and providing snapshots of their positive coverage, including adding the star’s latest song “Hot S**t” to their #TSRTunez vertical.
Reference to Cardi’s $4 million legal win over blogger Tasha Kthe outlet said: “What is the phone number of the lawyer you used in your defamation case because we are trying to see something is the ‘only negative’ content you are referring to? ”
Cardi continued her clapback, this time via video message, according to HipHopDX.
“I DMed you but, of course, you’re ignoring me, and that’s why I had to say it publicly,” she said. “Obviously you blocked me from commenting on your page. That’s why when I comment, no one can see my comment and I actually have screenshots of it, and that’s why I posted.
After hours of coming and going, Cardi suggested a phone call with the founder of The Shade Room, Angie Nwandu.
“I just spoke to @iamcardib and we were able to find a solution,” The Shade Room later posted.
