Kanye West kicked out of Grammys over ‘concerning online behavior’


Kanye West will no longer be performing at the 2022 Grammys, as a rep for the artist has confirmed his performance has been pulled due to his “concerning online behavior”.

Variety confirmed the news shortly after West’s “Eazy” collaborator, rapper The Game, took to social media in a rant defending the multi-hyphen as he was the subject of came under scrutiny for harassing his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, cyberbullying Pete Davidson and using a racial slur while addressing ‘The Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah.

“The Grammys decided at the last minute to stop @kanyewest from performing on the show like we didn’t know it was going to happen,” The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, shared via Instagram Friday night.

“Maybe because @trevornoah is hosting and there was a conversation between his team and the academy that led to the decision or because Ye’s account was suspended a few days ago for unknown reasons , especially in a world where all the negativities in the world can be found on the same app with no repercussions or suspensions,” the MC speculated.
