Jon Harrington Joins Little League® Staff as Social Media Coordinator

little league® International has announced Jon Harrington as its new Social Media Coordinator, based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, effective April 11, 2022.

Prior to joining the Little League team, Mr. Harrington interned at USA Baseball where he helped run content for their official social media account, as well as the 24 ancillary accounts they oversee. In this role, he also acted as an on-site social media creator while covering USA Baseball events and helped oversee certain campaigns around the USA Baseball Shop account.

“I am beyond thrilled to become a member of the Little League Baseball and Softball team and bring my talents to this incredible creative team in Williamsport,” said Mr. Harrington. “Over the past decade, and even more so in recent years, social media has played a tremendously important role in building brands and I’m thrilled to be able to help Little League bring its program into the lives of millions of fans. , parents , and especially the players, through its official social media platforms.

In addition to his work at USA Baseball, Mr. Harrington also spent time as a social media assistant at Carpe in Durham, North Carolina, where he created daily content for their Instagram and TikTok channels while displaying the voice and story of the brand. Additionally, he spent four years with the North Carolina Football Club in Cary, NC, ultimately serving as an Events Manager where he helped develop a content schedule, worked with sponsorship staff and activations. clients, and acted as a point of contact for five clients. and club vendors.

A 2019 graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management, Mr. Harrington served as the Sport Management Club’s Social Media and Philanthropy Chair during his undergraduate experience.
