Internova adds profiles to its website that promotes travel advisors: Travel Weekly

Internova Travel Group has updated its consumer-facing website,, which now features travel advisor profiles and content on the benefits of using an agent.

Traffic to the website is the end goal of Internova’s “Go Human. Book Human” ad campaign that launched last summer.

Visitors can now search for advisors by location, destination, travel interests and/or languages. If the advisor is online, consumers can start chatting with them immediately. They can also view the advisor’s full profile and schedule a time to talk.

Advisor profiles on BookHuman.Travel come from Internova’s agent profile. The advisors currently on the site have been hand-picked due to their expertise and specialization. Advisors don’t have to pay to be listed on the site, Internova said.

The site also includes information about what advisors do and how they work, and features stories and photos about the destinations of the advisors themselves.

Overall, the site seeks to show the benefits of human connection over online travel booking, Internova said.

“It amazes me how little consumers know about the benefits of using a travel counselor,” Rivard said in a statement. “Arguably the least important thing a travel consultant does is book your trip. What surrounds the actual booking – the planning, anticipation, troubleshooting, negotiation, resolution and communication – is where you will find the true value of an advisor.

“That’s what we want to showcase on BookHuman.Travel, which has evolved into an advocacy site for our travel advisors,” he added. “Here they can share their first-hand experiences as well as tell stories of how they helped customers before, during and after travel.”
