Washington, DC-(ENEWSPF)- Conagra Brands, Inc., a Russellville, Ark. facility, is recalling approximately 119,581 pounds of frozen beef products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the Safety Service and Food Inspection Agency (FSIS) announced today. The product contains egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The products are labeled as beef and broccoli, but contain orange chicken. These items were manufactured on May 26-27, 2022. The following products are being recalled [view labels]:

  • 22 oz. plastic bags containing “PF CHANG’S HOME MENU BEEF & BROCCOLI” with the batch code “5006 2146 2012” and “BEST BY MAY 21 2023”.

The recalled products have the establishment number “P115” on the side panel above the Nutrition Facts. These items have been shipped to outlets nationwide and only affect the listed PF Chang’s Home Menu Beef & Broccoli product. It does not include any products sold at PF Chang restaurants.

The problem was discovered when the production facility notified FSIS that it had received two consumer complaints that the beef and broccoli packaging contained a chicken product.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse effects due to the consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a health care provider.

FSIS is concerned that some products are in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are asked not to consume them. These products should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.

FSIS regularly conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify that recalling companies are notifying their customers of the recall and that steps are being taken to ensure that the product is no longer available to consumers. When available, retail distribution lists will be posted on the FSIS website at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls.
