The City of Cambridge announced today that, from Monday, January 3, 2022, this will be extend its free COVID-19 testing program to seven days a the week during the month of january thanks to its partnership with CIC SantÃ©. People who live or work in Cambridge can now make an appointment and be tested for free at 295 Third Street at CIC Health in Cambridge any day of the week.
âWith the rise of the Omicron variant and the increased demand for testing, we have been working to quickly provide more appointments for residents,â Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui and City Manager Louis A. DePasquale said in a statement. joint press release. âWe would like to thank CIC Health for their partnership in extending their testing to seven days a week for those who live and work in Cambridge, and we are extremely grateful and proud of the efforts of members of the Cambridge Pandemic Collaborative in their continued work on our walk-in test sites.
Tests by appointment only will be available free for those who live or work Cambridge at 295 Third Street from CIC Health in Cambridge during the following hours:
Sundays from 2 p.m.–20:00
Monday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. –10:00 p.m.; and
Saturday8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
To program an appointment, please visit https://www.cic-health.com/cambridge. You’ll have to to create am account and select one of the appointment slots available through the CIC system. Walk-ins will not be accepted on this site.
Residents will receive the results of tests administered at this site through the CIC system. Questions related to creating an account, making an appointment or accessing test results CIC test site should be directed to the CIC client service team at [email protected] or 877-280-2937.
In addition, walk-in test will be Carry on will be offered at the City’s other test sites on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. No appointment, ID or social security number is required. All sites are wheelchair accessible.
The hours and locations of the City’s walk-in COVID-19 test sites are as follows:
Sunday from 2:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. at church 50
Mondays from 4 p.m.–8:00 p.m. to
Wednesdays from 2:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. at 2254 Massachusetts Ave, St. John the Evangelist Church; and
Thursdays from 11:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m. to mall.
Please note that the City of Cambridge Testing Program provides PCR test results only and is unable to provide personalized documents for travel purposes (for example, entering passport information into a patient record). For travel documents, please request a test at another location.
