Blue Apron’s annual Thanksgiving menu is back with more options than ever


NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Blue Apron (NYSE: APRN) is bringing back its annual Thanksgiving menu with more options than ever, available with or without a subscription. Designed to simplify holiday meal planning, customers can choose a classic turkey dinner as well as a vegetarian meal that comes with the option of adding a mustard-glazed baked ham. Plus, holiday-inspired add-ons will be available to mix and match so customers can create a feast to suit different party sizes.

“Our comprehensive Thanksgiving menu features easy-to-prepare recipes no matter what skill level someone is in the kitchen. Available to order from October 7, each Thanksgiving box includes a comprehensive guide with step-by-step cooking instructions designed to help customers prepare their meal.

The classic Thanksgiving box

“Following the success of last year’s offering, we’ve brought back the entire menu for a traditional but lifted take on the classic turkey dinner,” Adler continued. “We’ve made simple changes to some recipes, like replacing smoked gouda with cheddar cheese in our mashed potatoes and using candied ginger to create a more family-friendly cranberry sauce.

The menu serves up to 8 people and includes:

  • Roasted turkey breast with salted butter

  • Homemade garlic and herb sauce

  • Fresh cranberry sauce with ginger and spicy maple syrup

  • Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Fried Rosemary and Pumpkin Seeds

  • Brown Butter and White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes with Romano Cheese and Chives

  • Apple crumb pie with caramel and almonds

The Holiday Vegetarian Box

“Our all-new Vegetarian Box is a plant-based menu that features a delicious, well-composed mix of recipes with distinctive ingredients,” Adler added. “It’s anchored perfectly around a delicious three-cheese truffle Cascatelli pasta bake, and the pre-made chocolate mousse guarantees a stunning finish with almost no effort.

The menu serves up to 10 people and includes:

  • Three Cheese Cascatelli Pasta with Mushrooms, Spinach and Truffle Breadcrumbs

  • Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Calabrian Brown Butter Walnut Dressing

  • Arugula and Orange Salad with Pistachios and Creamy Date Vinaigrette

  • Smoked Delicata Squash with Nuggets and Almonds

  • Chocolate mousse tart with whipped cream and candied peanuts
