United and the water assets who have worked tirelessly to carry out their support mission. of the National Park Service ”, Pictured Rocks chief ranger Joe Hughes said in a press release. “Thank you.”

In an Associated Press article, Cmdr. Mike Courtney of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Northern Great Lakes Search and Rescue Service said: “Our hearts go out to the families of those who are lost. We searched for them as if they were members of our own family.
